Florida Casino Ranks Among Best Casinos for Foodies

People go to casinos for many reasons. OK, most go to bet, obviously, but resort casinos feature several other popular attractions, such as theaters, spas, shops and golf courses. And let’s not forget about the food!

Whether you’re celebrating a big win at the blackjack table, a special occasion with a loved one or just reuniting with friends, the top casino resorts in the U.S. – including one in Florida – all offer numerous fine dining options to please your palate.

At FloridaBet.com, your source for the latest Florida sports betting news, we wanted to know what casinos are the best for foodies. To do so, we implemented a scoring system that factors in Trip Advisor ratings and Google reviews for the percentage of positive food reviews and the range of total food options.

Cracking the list at No. 9 is the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood. Located between Fort Lauderdale and Miami on the Seminole Tribe of Florida’s sovereign land, the Hard Rock casino is open to the public year-round. While visitors from across the world come to stay and play at the nearly 1,300 rooms spread across the resort’s three hotels, it still attracts South Florida locals for many reasons.

That includes the dining options.

What’s For Dinner At Hard Rock Hollywood?

Hard Rock Hollywood lists six fine dining options on its website. They are:

  • Abiaka Wood Fire Grill – The restaurant “showcases the culinary techniques of solid fuel grilling inspired by South Florida’s unique, bold flavors” and uses both orangewood and white oak charcoal to prepare the seafood, meats and state-grown fresh produce. Abiaka also offers an extensive wine list and several unique cocktails.
  • Cipresso – Enjoy a contemporary take on Italian-American foods, including pastas, pizzas and breads, in a restaurant that offers family style dining and bar tops among its seating options.
  • Council Oak Steaks & Seafood – This steakhouse features multi-level seating with an open kitchen. It also has its own butcher shop, a dry-aging room with pink Himalayan salt walls and a glassed-in wine room with more than 400 options.
  • Kuro – Enjoy top-flight sushi and seafood and Japanese Wagyu beef at this “new-style Japanese” restaurant that’s “designed with sharing in mind.”
  • Marky’s Caviar – A restaurant offering French fare with “modern American influences,” Marky’s also uses both locally sourced Sevruga Caviar and others bought from around the world, which you can also buy at its adjoining retail store.
  • Bae Korean Grill – Feast on fine Korean barbecue, with options including beef, poultry, pork, seafood and vegetarian options at tables featuring Shinpo table grills.

For those looking for something a little more casual, the casino resort offers several other bars and grills, including – of course – a Hard Rock Café.
