The song that tops the charts in the Sunshine State is one thatā€™s been around for 64 years. ā€œJingle Bell Rock,ā€ first performed by Bobby Helms, can be considered a rock nā€™ roll or a country song, depending on the artist.

Helmsā€™ version currently ranks No. 3 on this weekā€™s Billboard Holiday 100. Itā€™s charted as high as No. 2 in its 71 weeks on the chart. Could it ever hit No. 1? In order to do that, itā€™ll need to dethrone Mariah Careyā€™s ā€œAll I Want For Christmas Is You.ā€

Besides Helmsā€™ version, Daryl Hall and John Oatesā€™ cover of the song, which the pop duo released in 1983, comes in at No. 76.

Jose Feliciano Christmas Song Loved By Many Floridians

Another holiday staple that also rates highly among Floridians is ā€œFeliz Navidadā€ by Jose Feliciano. The Puerto Rican entertainer first released the song back in 1970. While it resonates with Christmas lovers everywhere, itā€™s especially meaningful to many Floridians. According to federal government data, Florida has the seventh highest population of Hispanic and Latino peoples by percentage at 27.4%.

It has ranked as high as No. 3 on the Billboard holiday chart, and the sone was No. 13 in this weekā€™s rundown.
