NASCAR Races to Bet On in Florida
There are two tracks on the NASCAR race schedule with three total races taking place in Florida.
Daytona International Speedway
The Daytona International Speedway, located just a couple miles off the beach at Daytona, is where NASCAR was born. A group of men met at a hotel and created the National Association For Stock Car Auto Racing. Since that 1948 meeting, Daytona has been home to the World Center of Racing and NASCAR's "Super Bowl": the Daytona 500.
The Daytona 500 kicks off NASCAR's 36-race point-paying schedule in the middle of February each year. The track has a second date that takes place in late August, currently the 26th race of the season that sets the field for the NASCAR Playoffs. To win either race at Daytona each year sets your name into NASCAR lore.
Homestead-Miami Speedway
Further down the road from Daytona you'll find Homestead-Miami Speedway. The track is located West of Homestead, FL, about as far south you can go in Florida. Over the years, Homestead-Miami has been home to some of the top moments since the tracks inaugural Cup Series race in 1999. From hosting NASCAR Cup Series Championship races to recently becoming some of the most exciting racing on the circuit, if you're curious about giving NASCAR a shot then you should tune in to their Spring date.
