The Heat’s two players netted them the sixth most, alongside 10 other teams, with Miami ranking behind the likes of the Boston Celtics, Cleveland Cavaliers, Milwaukee Bucks, Philadelphia 76ers, Phoenix Suns, and Golden State Warriors, who had three players apiece at 85 or above. Leaguewide, Miami ranked ahead of eight clubs that had one player ranked 85 or above apiece, including Eastern Conference clubs like the Miami Hawks, Brooklyn Nets, Charlotte Hornets, Toronto Raptors, and Indiana Pacers.
Conversely, the Magic were one of five NBA franchises without a single player ranked 85 or above, showing how far the franchise has to go to reach their in-state rivals in the season ahead.
