After a 4-13 season, Doug Pederson is out in Jacksonville after three years, joining past Jaguars coaches Urban Meyer, Doug Marrone, Gus Bradley and Mike Mularkey in getting fired by Shad Khan since the Pakistani billionaire bought the club in 2012.
With all that in mind, FloridaBet.com - the top source for Florida sports betting news - broke down some hypothetical odds on which NFL candidates could be the next up in North Florida, with a handful of assistants and former head coaches leading the way right now in the race to replace Pederson in Jacksonville.
Popular candidates like Mike Vrabel (Patriots) and Ben Johnson (Bears) are now off the board. Then, late in the Jags' search, Khan parted ways with GM Trent Baalke, the very day Bucs OC Liam Coen pulled his name from the search. What's going on in Jacksonville?

For a good stretch, our top candidate to replace Pederson in Jacksonville was Tampa Bay Buccaneers offensive coordinator Liam Coen, who has served as an assistant in the NFL on-and-off since joining the Los Angeles Rams as an assistant wide receivers coach in 2018.
Coen (most recently at +175) started his coaching career at a quartet of New England universities (Brown, Rhode Island, UMass and Maine), before moving up to the pros, with the 39-year-old Rhode Island native leading the Bucsβ to top five rankings in passing (250.4), rushing (149.2) and points per game (29.5) this season.
Unfortunately for Jags fans, Coen on Jan. 22 took his name out of the running, choosing instead to take an extension with Tampa.
Now where will the Jags turn?
Remaining candidates include former New York Jets head coach Robert Saleh, who now checks in at +200, while Las Vegas Raiders defensive coordinator Patrick Graham has risen to +225. Buffalo Bills offensive coordinator Joe Brady and Ravens OC Todd Monken are each at +1100.
Saleh was a longtime assistant in Jacksonville before becoming a head coach, though his tenure in New York would do little to inspire Jags fans off the jump.
Throw in a longshot contender in former Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy at +1250 and you have the full rundown on who we see being in the running to replace Pederson in Jacksonville, as the Jaguars look to find the right man to lead quarterback Trevor Lawrence and company to the promised land in 2025 and beyond.
