After a 4-13 season, Doug Pederson is out in Jacksonville after three years, joining past Jaguars coaches Urban Meyer, Doug Marrone, Gus Bradley and Mike Mularkey in getting fired by Shad Khan since the Pakistani billionaire bought the club in 2012.
With all that in mind, FloridaBet.com - the top source for Florida sports betting news - broke down some hypothetical odds on which NFL candidates could be the next up in North Florida, with a handful of assistants and former head coaches leading the way right now in the race to replace Pederson in Jacksonville.

Our odds-on favorite to be the next head coach of the Jags is Detroit Lions OC Ben Johnson, listed at +325 as the search gets underway.
Johnson is the up-and-coming coordinator of the leagueβs hottest team in the Lions, with 15-2 Detroit topping most sportsbooks' boards as Super Bowl favorites entering the Divisional Round. Will he be interested in moving to North Florida to work with GM Trent Baalke and QB Trevor Lawrence? Johnson can be choosy, and was not interested in the Commanders job last offseason that went to Dan Quinn.
Then there is Bucs OC Liam Coen at +600, who helped lead Tampa Bay to another NFC South title and got a great year out of Baker Mayfield. This was Coen's first tour as an NFL OC, but the league loves a young offensive mind. Will the Jaguars turn to Coen if they can't land Johnson?
Ravens OC Todd Monken (+900) has only been a head coach once in his esteemed coaching career, that being his three-year stint at Southern Miss of the FBS, where he went 13-25 in total, though he did win the Conference-USA Coach of the Year award in 2015. He's found his NFL stride with Lamar Jackson, and has utilized star running back Derrick Henry alongside him this year to give the Ravens a real shot at a Super Bowl title. Expect Monken to again be in demand after he went through several head coach interviews last offseason.
Bills OC Joe Brady (+900), Dolphins DC Anthony Weaver and Washington Commanders OC Kliff Kingsbury (both +1200) are the next closest contenders to land the Jaguars job.
Among the longshots to keep in mind when it comes to the Jaguars head coaching job are former Jets coach Robert Saleh and Lions DC Aaron Glenn, with both listed at +1500 to replace Pederson in North Florida.
